What We Need
- Lasagne pasta
- Beef meat
- Tomato sauce
- Bechamel
- Carrots
- Bell pepper
- Onions
- Nutmeg, salt and pepper
- Lettuce
- Tomatoes and/or Bell pepper
- Cucumber
- Sour cream
For the Bechamel
- 680 g of flour
- 680 g of butter
- Around 4 L of milk (more or less)
- Salt, pepper
- Nutmeg (1,5 teaspoons)
Quantities for 2 Baking Trays:
- 5 kg of beef meat
- 3 big cans of tomato sauce or 9 little cans
- 5 carrots
- 3 bell peppers
- 4 onions
How To Do:
1) Take the meat out of the freezer
2) Put the tomato sauce cans in a big pot
3) Cut the carrots and the bell peppers in small pieces, then add them to the tomato sauce
4) Mix the tomato sauce until ready then turn off the heat
5) Cut the onions
6) Once the meat is defrosted, start to cook the meat with the onions
7) When the meat is ready add salt and pepper
8) Now, start the bechamel, put the butter in a big pan, when it’s completely melted add the flour and mix. Then gradually add the milk and mix at the same time -> When the texture looks good turn off the heat
9) Take 2 deep baking trays, put bechamel at the bottom and then add lasagne pasta
10) Put tomato sauce on the top of the lasagne pasta, then add the meat mixed with the onions, add bechamel to cover all the meat and make another layer of pasta (repeat this step three times) ! For the vegetarian version just skip the meat layer !
11) On the top add bechamel to cover all the lasagne pasta and add cheese
12) Put the trays in the oven for 20 minutes at 180°c
13) If you serve them the same day add 20 minutes in the oven at the same temperature
14)Cut each lasagna in approximately 15 pieces
15) Cut the lettuce and put it in 2 big bowls, cut vegetables and put into bowls
16) Put the sour creme in a bowl and serve with the lasagna
